Under pressure

I'm in the middle of annual billing in work at the moment, and as usual there have been enough complications to push my buttons and test my patience!!

First thing - printer wouldn't work to print the Business Rates bills
Second thing - some of the alignment of the text on the bills was squiffy
Third thing - pulling the bills that are due to receive some sort of relief as the system wouldn't let me process the applications prior to the new charge being raised!

Then you have people getting arsey on the phone with you because you aren't able to look at their account because the system is down. I've quickly developed a nauseatingly polite and conciliatory tone to use with these people. In fact, I could get an Oscar for it!!!

Patience is apparently being "consistently and constantly the same."
Hmmm....I definitely need to improve on that.
